Kids wronfg... I was a teacher and coach for 7 years you can't beat a dead horse.
I started each year with this... I said all of you can learn and memorize a ton of facts if you try. We played the name game first and last favorite food and color.
Kid.1. Says name and food and color Kid 2 says his name food and color and kid 1s name food and color Kid 3... repeat...
Class with 30 9th graders by day 2 could repeat every kids name and food and color... and then Kid one until they all could do it. I would teach them some memory tricks as well...
Now when we got done I would say it's not your brain power it's your effort power then I would say who wants to go to college or really learn sit up front... if you just want to pass sit in the middle if you don't care sit in the back and shut up and I will give you a C....
Then I would say the only thing in the world holding you back is you.
So you beat dead horses!?
Yes yes I did.. but the 4 or 5 that showed life I helped the rest could fuck off I can't care more for you future then you do for your self.
