That's because vid8's storage host encountered a catastrophic failure of their RAID nodes and plenty of videos (posted more than 2 years ago) got corrupted.

Videos taken with my shot Cam while hunting. The same ones I always upload. I take them with that camera and transfer them to my phone and then I transfer them to my computer and upload them to vid8. Probably not the most efficient way to do it.
