So make a vid8 account and upload a video.

You're not allowed. You have to ask AOU from what the login page said.

Get to, I think, level 6 for PM capability.

There's obviously no level required to PM admin accounts.

I'm at level 3 now. I was able to do it, someone had giving me his profile page and on that I was able to message him. Whether it works or not I have no idea. I suppose I could find a non-youtube video uploader and share a video that way?
