Some decades ago I used to frequent a local BBS that one day went down unexpectedly. A few days later I'd met up with some other members who told me the server owner came home drunk one day and beat it up, lol. It was a couple of weeks before it was back up and running.
I wonder if something similar happened here.

I don't think so. I tried to upload a video of a 78 I bought at the show today being played, and it was almost at the limit. It stopped at 8% and then vid8 refused to respond.
Unless @picmandecided to rainbow-dildo the thing into oblivion...
