Vid8 is gonna get a new massive (Poal based) update soon.

Big thanks to @anthony_newtubewho has been the best dev and next best choice after Poaltube (based on hooktube 2.0 Invidious, after Joogle started to ban our instance's IPs). Feel free to setup your own instance(github.com).

PS: I've never shared his video sharing ( https://newtube.app) because it's a SFW only(github.com) sharing instance. Feel free to use it if you want to share SFW stuff. There's also another Swiss based one called allwat.ch (edit: seems to be down atm).

Download videos that you know are gonna get shoahed (adblock recommended):

You can also use Catbox.moe (limited to 200MB per upload), but don't expect your links to last forever

Can confirm. Some of my old links sometimes work but most just 404 with a cute anime girl.

On the sidebar of s/videos put the links to video sharing sites. Same with s/pics. And it would even be nice if there were links to archive.ph on other subs.

People are more likely to use them if the links are easy to find. And with shit getting banned and blocked across the internet, it'd be nice to have links to sites that are easy to find and likely to work.
