Personally I hate watching a YouTube video to find out what size wrench I need for the front inner tie rod end. Is txt not a thing? It is, but it can’t be minimized.(yes I know sustains a thing) but that’s newish. I used to write step by step how to’s. List all to tools you need. Then the directions. A fucking monkey could follow them. Remove lug nuts, Remove rim and tire, use a 13mm for x, use a 10mm for y, zip tie up out of way, on and on. My instructions were not based on the book, but how I did it after numerous starts and stops and the most efficient way to get it done. But that’s all lost now. Dead internet. I check one thing I wrote about in 1995 on a forum…it still can be found but not in its original post form, just in text archives after numerous migrations of multiple forums. But fuck videos. There is a time and place, but not everything needs a video. Like “how to tie on a light switch”
