Just because it can be connected to the Internet doesn't mean you should. Good antenna can bring in close to fifty channels OTA. Most PC monitors have an HDMI input, just plug a streaming box onto that. A commercial display, like you might see at a restaurant, are available. They are basically overbuilt dumb TVs. Designed to run 24/7/365. They are kinda hard to find and cost more but they do exactly one thing. A box like this can add TV like functionality to a PC monitor. https://a.co/d/e1dppH3

There's really nothing good to watch on tv. If there is any good show, I figure out how to watch it without streaming subscriptions.

Big money to the first person that discovers how to capture the actual tv broadcasts from the past and transmit them to the present bet

There's too many commercials on regular TV. Piracy is a better way.

Don't connect it to the Internet. Problem solved. If you need smart features, get a jewstick that can't monitor you when it's not the selected input to the TV.
