Remember a few years ago when they released a driver that removed the thermal throttling from cards so your card would literally just kill itself? Fun times.
After a long period of dog shit drivers from AMD, my card has been pretty solid for now.
Fuck...yeah I remember that. And they kept claiming it doesn't happen, and it's over clockers or user error. Now we have cards literally melting the PSU pins, and they start the same dog and pony of it doesn't happen or user error.
If I hadn't gotten such a deal on my 2070 Super, I'd have stuck with my old RX570 even now, until I can find a good priced 6700xt or something.
I have a 6800xt right now. I'm looking to upgrade to a 9070xt when prices become not insane.
Those are pretty beastly too
