This has some really interesting possibilities. Add some AI to the drone and put these on police vehicles and now you have a drone that can track someone on foot or in a car automatically while alerting other cops and literally putting a navigation "dot" on a map to point out a criminal. Yes, I know that everything I suggested there is kind of freaky and anti-privacy and anti-freedom but we all know stuff like this is being done already just not at scale and manually controlled.
