I figured we would close to 100TB close to now.

Yeah, its always by leaps. From 4tb to 16 took a bit but now its basically going 44tb to 100tb in just a couple of years. Imagine all of that being non-spinning disk. Probably need to create new controllers and maybe even protocols to handle the bandwidth.
