Fuck cable and fuck streaming services. I'll take my free roku channel and books.

Gotta admit, Roku brings a lot to the table on the free.

Did you know you can access it all on your phone and on your computer's web browser as well?

I'm not saying anyone should be rotting their brain watching jew nonsense, but we are all human and I do enjoy classic bob barker price is right in the background.

Concur!

I don't keep anything on my 'listening device' beyond music, crosswords and sudoku.

That said, I dig roku, I have zero complaints. They update contents regularly, I find, and even if they don't, I like watching leave it to beaver sometimes, haha

How much do you spend on streaming services each month?

A big ZERO

There's nothing worth paying for. Independent videos and podcasts are pretty good.

I also don't pay $69 for internet. I'm one of those pains that get the $29 promo for a year. I mark my calendar with my promo end date, call the CSR and try to negotiate a better rate. That usually fails, so I call the next provider and get their $29 promo for a year, repeat.

I give $8 a month to SomaFM because I like the service. It's not a requirement, I just appreciate the service.

SomaFM is great, can relate. And it even works just fine through free radiostations in your favorite player! I hope it doesn't go di.fm route though.

I run them through both my phone to the car when travelling, and through an ancient squeezebox system here in the house.

I'll check it out. Thanks!

I was just looking at a collection of things on my machine that came from parts unknown.

Yandex finds literally everything.

I would use it as my daily driver if not for the captcha spam.

I only use it for searching "watch <insert show/movie here> online". I've been binge watching South Park lately from one of the top sites it shows. Season 8 now.

My streaming service's motto is "Arrrrrr!" though I've hardly used it in the past year. I don't have time to watch fantasy that placates me from getting important things done in real life.

I've noticed most things on Netflix are all devil or ultra violence themed. Maybe people are just tired of seeing that kind of shit and want to see uplifting non-gay TV shows. I don't know. Plus also the commercials that they added on are absolutely atrociously annoying. And maybe people are going back to torrenting?

most shows we watch are barely being made anymore. south park, family guy, ect usually come out with a special every few months around holidays. they don't have regular episodes. we can only rewatch stuff so many times before it seems pointless to keep paying for it. we only renew ours when it's on sale or bundled with the one our kids watch. if you're watching reruns over and over and paying for the streaming service it ends up being cheaper to buy DVDs of the shows.

About the only thing I watch is a couple of presenters on youtube that work on crap I like.
