Sometimes it takes a lot of knowledge/wisdom/experience to figure out odd/stupid crap like this. Other times.. It should have just been solved by replacing the damn part that was broken. Still, interesting read. I have ran into my fair share of "wtf" situations that I fixed in strange ways (guess ill write some up one day) but this is a fun one.

It's a random chance built into the firmware. It's not doing anything, we simply allow you to believe it is.

I'll just increase the force of the percussive maintenance till the probability approaches 100%. That works with women so it should apply to bird drones as well. You both have the same quirky modes of operation and all will be fine till the magic smoke comes out.
