I hate "smart TVs". Rather buy a PC monitor, most of those don't have Ethernet or wifi built-in.

Yeah, I think they only way to get a "not smart" tv is to pay a massive premium. The only time I connect a TV to the internet now is right out of the box to run a software update then I factory reset it and use a PC connected to it for all of my media/streaming.
