It would be interesting to see how these do. There are a few reasons why we have not been using blimps for travel for decades.
I feel like one guy with an elephant rifle and 10 shots could take the whole thing down. Am I wrong?
This seems to be a good technology for a better world.
Probably would not need even 10 shots and I am sure there are plenty of easier ways to take one down these days. I was thinking more along the lines of them being slow and having a small carry capacity for how god damn huge they are and if a big storm comes in you have no way to navigate them properly other than going to ground if you can.
On the other side.. For short distances that you would normally drive for 3-4 hours.. Having a calm ride on one of those for 3-4 hours while you have a great view and can just hang out or get some work done would not bother me.
Without doubt I would LOVE to ride on a blimp. I would take it across the country. You could probably rise above most bad weather.
I just don't trust the psychotic element of society.
