Bingo!
As one who has worked with and within the CX and UX fields, it is all a distinct genre of propaganda and its purpose is the consumption of products. Now, 'products' can be good for you or they can be informational packets designed to make one think in certain patterns, or use services a particular way. Think 'Hegelian Dialectic" in a digital format, but the Problem/Reaction/Solution is solely how to increase the profit margin.
The problem is indeed the content that is being consumed COMBINED and exacerbated with a lack of critical thinking skills. Kids aren't being taught the basics of critical thought and how to think, only what to think. Though, it does appear that there are more awakenings on how much stupidity there is that we have to deal with: federal reserve and why do we owe them interest, politicians being completely and utterly out of touch and cringe when they try, racial guilt the the point of absurdity and utter hypocrisy. These ideals are not sustainable in the White hive mind.
