I have to agree that I have very little faith in the intelligence of the chinese, but I don't think building an AI requires intelligence. The whole process is very simple, but requires a shit ton of data and processing. Which can easily be done with money and cheap labor. That is exactly what the chinese excell at.
Also, the biggest bottleneck for AI is intentional crippling by those who control it. The biggest factor here is that the chinks aren't jews.
You should watch a few episodes of The China Show. They do everything as cheaply as possible, cheaper than the jews. AI does require intelligence otherwise you end up with garbage in, garbage out.
