Having a Pi-hole on your network is easy and cheap and is great for blocking the majority of ad's, trackers, etc.

Still not a bad idea to use a VPN of some sort but it is a lot better than nothing.

Ahh, Well it wont block porn or such but it will block advertisements and trackers. You can add websites to a block list too. I think either the older version (or maybe the new beta) will even allow you to block things device-by-device.

Im fairly sure that AdGuard Home can do that if pi-hole can't yet.

You can get blacklist groups to add to your pihole that include a vast majority of porn sites

It's how I broke my addiction like 8 years ago
