Probably some kind of miner or something. I don't know anything about that image upscaling program or where you downloaded it from, but ensure you download the installer for something from the actual source who creates the program and not an installer file provided by someone else. It's still no guarantee, but it will make it less likely that it could have different miners and loggers inserted by a third party. Also always have internet completely disabled while running cleaning so an infection doesn't just redownload files mid-cleaning and undo your cleaning efforts before you're even finished.
