Probably this. I was going to suggest the internet in general but it was only when the mass of normies, niggers and women invaded the internet that things jumped the shark, and that's solely down to the smartphone.

while it is distracting, before the smart phone we were reading shampoo bottles in the can, reading newspapers, before that, staring at fires, it is worse now though.

The problem is we were conquered by international jewish bankers. The technologies we invented are used to extract wealth without any regard for their effects on health and well being, and in some cases they are used for more nefarious purposes.
It's not the technology, it's the people in power that are the problem.
I'll give you two: (1) Genetically modified food, particularly seeds.
(2) Psychological advancement of marketing, preying on the biological weakness of the human mind.
The impact of the first should be obvious, tho most don't realize the stranglehold there is on good quality seed genetics.
The impact of the second is easy to confuse with the invention of the touchscreen mobile phone or even the transistor, but you would never blame a gun for the actions of a mass murderer would you? The zombie generation we're seeing now is the result of careful marketing that happened to use today's technology as their vehicle, but it is that science-based selection of emotional hooks that have fucked us all over.

Smartphones have caused more damage to Western Society over the last 20 years than any WMD could do. Its ruined community & destroyed the childhood of many many children. the tech is been a fucking poison.

Industrialized animal farming. Sure, cheap meat, but this meat is inferior to animals that lived an authentic life. It's nutritionally vacant due to these animals, namely beef, being raised on corn instead of grass or grains. By the way, the practice also helped corn subsidy, and now, it's a potential mrna vaccine vector.
Almost all cash crops are grown for humans though. Animals get the waste. It's one of the bits of vegan propaganda that these crops are grown for animals. The sad reality is that even factory farmed meat is vastly nutritionally superior to plant foods.
This is a good one. I'm not sure it even made meat cheaper. It likely just split up and commodified all the pieces and allowed for central control. They even feed cows skittles these days. Factory farming of all animals should be illegal.

It was over with the invention of the recorded moving image. Once that existed it was possible to blackmail people for actions done in the past. Created a whole new industry that the evil minded quickly put to use, placing people in compromising situation, recording it, then telling them that without special obedience and benefits that the recordings would be made public.
