Emp are just electro magnetic pules. Ives tinkered at my desk with capacitors diodes and a high frequency ac transformer. Fucked up my desk lamp. Does shut off my monitors and shit. The problem with it is I can’t seem to get it to focus to one area or point. Just fucks up in a 3d radius. I really did like that lamp. As far as monitors and other things, it just shuts off monitors then they turn right back on. Maybe need higher frequency? More power would probably do the monitors pretty good but not going to try and fuck them up. The rail gun is the same but does one big pulse through coils that project metal using electromagnetic flux. So if you radiate with emp. Might just start misfiring the weapons.
