It's amazing how chrome spends time like so many tech companies digging their own grave.
Hey, cool— Google's suicidal. Neat! I bet it grinds their gears so bad that they can't track everyone online 24/7 anymore, 'cause they pushed the envelope so far that it fell off the desk and now nobody wants to put up with their shit, anymore. Obviously, the solution is to double-down. Amazeballs. *edit: wonder how this would affect system-wide ad-blockers like Blokada or AdAway on Android, if at all. If you have a pi-hole at home, this doesn't matter in the slightest.
Yeah, they're pulling a Microsoft.
Had a pihole took down poaltube and poalsearch so I had to disable it.
Really? How? Like, did you have it running on the same server or was it someone with a pihole?
It was running dns for the network those two sit on.
The article only references Chrome. Does this affect all chromium based browsers?
Presumably it only affects Chrome.
Hey cool, all the more reason for me use the Dissenter browser instead.
