Nope. That is what it used to be. Console generations have only slowed down. The difference between a PS4 and a PS5 is effectively nothing. Most games are released on both systems. That was unthinkable a generation ago. Consoles are sold at a loss. It does not make financial sense to release new consoles when there is no competitive pressure to do so.
