Only actual living voters can donate to political campaigns. This way, a rich corporation can't pay off politicians to ban regulated utilities from renewing their license to operate a coal plant paid for by taxpayers. Then when it is basically worthless, allow a private operator to get a pollution exemption to buy and operate the plant for next to nothing and operate it privately because it is not tied to the grid and therefore not regulated. Politician gets a wallet that is magically filled with crypto.
