The chips made in China?

China cant produce current gen chips. Those are made in the US, Taiwan, and maybe SK and Japan.

So the US us banning Taiwan from selling chips to China?

It's Taiwan's silicon shield. The last time a major chip manufacturer had a ten minute power outage, yield dropped by 30% for the year. If China crosses the straight...chips are 0% for years.

So does that mean that the American high tech corporations who took their factory to China will bring them back to USA?

Modern "journalism": most of this "news" article consists of reporting the opinions expressed by a loudmouthed American shithead on twitter.

Wait, how will circuit boards be assembled in China? Lots of US companies have that done over there.

Can we stop the fentanol coming across the border practicaly unchecked too?

Probably one of the worst times to be doing this. Seeing that we couldn't get chips at all for almost a year and a half. Now we're going to be hunting for chips again so Biden can pat himself in the back for his new bill to bring that manufacturing here to the states. Nothing like trickling right? he just drops it right off the side of a building into a glass roof. This is going to crater the stock market tomorrow.
