It's been on Apple's store for quite awhile now. I don't doubt that it's an absolute shit show on the back end with data aggregation, access to and what needed to be put into place (terms and publishing requirements). Both services can easily link the user accounts and unique ids as that's what they do.
I do feel a bit sorrow for those that think it's all peaches and cream because it's "their platform" and all is good because of. Just the same as I saw with, mostly one in the same, the q tards. But maybe that won't be a feeling of sorrow in two more weeks time.
I see it as a good thing only because it's not fbook, reddit or twitter. People need choices and generally the folks using a site like Truth social are older conservative educated Whites that probably aren't activists, and only want to find an online community of like-minded people.
I know what you're saying but I'd bet on most of those older, educated, conservatives having a fakebook account that they'd never part with unless they were forced off.
