Best anti virus for a older friend who has no tech skills

just want a decent price av for him that isn't costly but decent, and easy enough i do not have to go install it for him

Linux, specifically Kubuntu or maybe Mint.

Set it up with Brave browser and Libre Office and walk away. That'll cover 99% of common use cases and you never have to worry about being sodomized by Windows or what it invites in again.
