He also could have offered a deal for Gab to keep Brave's BAT system in exchange for including Dissenter into Brave. But nope he went petty which I find to be very odd.

He could've honestly. At this point, all I'm hoping is that Brave and Gab try to find common ground and that in return, Brendan Eich stop attacking Gab for little things like the whole thing and Gab would do the same.
Or that at the very least, Brendan Eich stops getting all salty and hurt feelings about Gab forking Brave because let's face the following two facts:
- Brave started as a fork of Chromium.
- The code for Brave is available for anyone to see on GitHub, under a Mozilla Public License 2.0, which allows for modification and commercial use of it.
