I used unbound briefly, until I came across ODOH

The guide is for pihole, but it's the same principle as unbound. Run a local dns server and point adguard to localhost at port 5350 (or whatever you set it to)

Neither had I until recently
Turns out cloudflare 1.1.1.1 is already using ODOH and my unbound is setup to use cloudflare. I think. More investigation is needed.

I did something similar to this (github.com) on my pis. Except I don't use wireguard.
