Apparently this applies to the remote start option you PAID FOR when you bought the car but to use it you have to cough up $8 a month. Personally I have never trusted remote start since the simple encryption can be defeated and your car stolen. Now they are putting out an app so you can start your car from your phone. Again, bad idea for those whom have a security mindset.

What's wrong with the key? All my cars use old fashioned keys.

Muh resale value never gets old with you guys lol. Your numbers are retarded every truck lasts 100k and has for years.

You guys keep pretending a Tacoma is a Hilux, it ain't. Mine bent the tailgate within a week loading a bike and Toyota told me I'm supposed to "remove the tailgate prior to loading and unloading because it's not load-bearing."

Then I got a FRAME RECALL and said fuck that put on Craigslist and sold it. POS only had it for six months. Like I said I moved to the country and haven't seen a single Tacoma because people here need a truck that doesn't fold in half when you sit on the tailgate.

Keep chugging the consumer reports kool-aid though.

You know recalls are free, right?

Tacoma customers who had their truck for 10+ years were given NEW TACOMA LOANERS for almost a year to drive for FREE while the frame was replaced!

Domestics expect their trucks to fall apart within 10 years. Toyota went outside of their rust warranty and voluntarily fixed those trucks. They didn't have to take old trucks and fix them but they did.

And you sold yours lol.

Yeah because I need a truck for truck things not a scion loaner while I wait 7 months. No fucking Tacoma loaners for me that's bullshit. People who need trucks don't drive Tacomas.

Scion? They were giving out Tacoma loaners. Toyota even allocated enough to dealers specifically as frame recall loaners.

I haul a dump body trailer with mine. Handles it just fine.
