They'll pressure the DNS providers, registrars, ISPs, the T1s that peer with the ISPs, the datacenters where they peer, T1s themselves, and eventually entire countries with threats to literally cut the fiber to them.

For those thinking a separate type of DNS system will fix this, think again.

You're right, long term. But these methods can be useful in the shorter while people work on and out final touches on a civilian meshnet. Although the meshnets on separate continents will need to be connected to one another with either a fiber backbone or satellite?
