Pdf and call it good. Over priced propped up industry. Compete with digital, adapt or fail.

Absolutely agree. There's no legitimate reason school books of any kind are so overpriced. Most contain outdated material and it's simply a business that forces you to pay as a captive audience. It's a racket that needs to die.

The change history in books you have to publish new editions.

Imagine how easy it is for governments and kikes to rewrite history with ebooks.

This is true. But ya know it's gonna happen.

My son has only paid for 1 book in his 2 years of college so far. And the only reason he paid for that one is because it was the kind of workbook you had to write inside and turn the pages into the professor

Mixed opinions on this. On one hand, textbooks are an overpriced scam. On the other hand, for things like my tech classes, I definitely want a hard copy I can keep sitting on the shelf for reference at a moment's notice. Some of my tech books (microprocessors and fluid power to name a few), were single run prints from the 80's that are almost impossible to find, while also still being THE goto book for the subject.
