Personally, I thought this was a pretty good video going over Source Filmmaker and why it's still popular despite not being updated by Valve since 2015. And honestly, I really do hope that Valve decides to make it open source so that people can go in and fix issues and bring their ideas to improve upon the program itself. Maybe Sandia Mesa could initiate making this happen by talking to Valve since we used Source Filmmaker to create My Little Hood back in 2016.
