I'm comfortable with letting AI make the call on drone defense. It's not like it's a ground level machine gun that could blast a friendly going to take a piss. Worst case you waste a flock of birds. According to my buddy in the navy it already happens. The Phalanx CIWS smokes the occasional pelican that dives a little too much like a sea skimming missile.
I really think the solution to this is going to be more low tech. Bring back barrage balloons with nets tired between them to create a no drone zone.

Depends on what we mean by "jamming". Obviously autonomous drones won't be stopped by RF jamming, but other types of jamming could easily interfere with the types of sensors they use to identify targets, their own position etc. in order to make those behaviors function.
Jam their GPS and bathe them in visible and IR light and most autonomous drones are out of action, unable to determine their location (absolute or relative, that's why you need both GPS and vision jamming) or locate targets.

I cannot find the video right now, but someone made a paintgun that did not use anything other than visuals to identify humans supposedly. So, unless you can jam light, they can work.
