cricket, pinephone, etc. you can buy paid credit cards with monero, so there's your "untraceable" aspect.

Monero is traceable. It isn't deterministic tracing, but if the government wants to find asource for a Monero transaction, they can target you to about 95% probability, which is about 4750 time higher than the coronahoax mortality rate.

It's similar to how they track people who use the tor network IIRC.

you can purchase "pre-paid" credit card / gift cards with cryptocurrency to further obscure the money trail when purchasing a phone
