Here is something I stumbled on that claims to be an anti-censorship replacement for Reddit. The fact it requires me to download something means I'd never use it, but maybe some here would not be so picky:

It looks okay, but I'm no techie, so make up your own minds. I'm just letting you know about it, not recommending it.

Didn't read the whole thing, but it's decentralized, this is why it needs an application. It's a protocol, maybe something like gnutella, but for shitposting. I'm with you. The only way I would use it would be the existence of several open source clients.

Yeah, I'm not big on downloading apps. I watch movies/TV shows off the internet, but assiduously avoid any sites that require an app, or email service that requires one, or pretty much anything else. Just not trusting, plus my PC has enough stuff on it anyway.

I checked it out years ago, didn't really work for me as there is was no way to use it on mobile.

Sorry, I didn't even check for that, as I don't do pocketphones or MP3 players, so got no clue what to look for that would indicate compatibility.

Well there would have to be an app for it too work on phones or any other mobile devices, and a significant amount of web traffic(even here on poal) is mobile devices. So without it a platform is kind of doomed to fail at least from what I can imagine.

No worries, pocketphones or MP3 players? Those are so 2006 all us cool kids have google implants in our brain now.

So Google Glass is a bust.
