Things have an interesting way of coming full circle, sometimes, or rather often, we miss a lot of critical details without even realizing it. Thinking that our deeds never catch up to us if we cut enough loose ends. No matter how hard you try, you only delay the inevitable. Plastic surgery cannot save your body. I agree on your other point, once the truth is out there, you're either seen as a crazy person, or something happens, either way life goes on. There's so many people that are willing to believe authority over some random nobody that it's really the perfect cover. Only the truly stupid are allowed to say the truth without filter, or they wouldn't be seen as stupid in the first place.
