Not only that, but their email app isn't open source. Tutanota is the way to go since it's open source.

Well at least posit a better alternative than expecting me to host my own email server (I'm not looking for extra work) or relying on the Russians and Chinese (not doing that either).

This is why they encrypt the whole inbox/connection process. So Tutanota will not have any of the actual data and will not know what's in your emails. They do this because they expected the German government to eventually come after them & they did. Which is why many EU countries & Russia are trying to ban encrypted apps & services.

Maybe encrypted i2p email would be more of what you're looking for. https://thetinhat.com/tutorials/messaging/i2pbote.html

What do you mean "pozzed"? All of the tech companies are compromised simply due to the nature of the fact that when someone leaves one tech firm, they eventually are hired by another based upon their skill set, past experience, prior education, and professional associations. At this point it's clear as crystal that they're all honeypots either for domestic or foreign intelligence agencies employing mostly psychologically damaged individuals. Thank god, I used protonmail as a dead box for forum junk mail and nothing of any importance.
