currently the netherlands. I challenge you to find a host in the US that supports free speech. I could not find one.
If I could get the funding I would start my own damn data center/hosting company that supports it but that seems like it would be a ways down the line. Who knows what the next year will bring if this new business venture works out maybe I'll be able to afford it myself.
I still think it's better to host in the US than in the EU in the current moment, because you know....article 13, hate speech laws, etc.
While in theory I would agree, in practice there just are not companies I could find that will backup your right to free speech.
So at least the company I used is specifically setup to defend unpopular political ideas. I hope someday to self host in the US and even host other sites that want free speech. Its a dream.
Well you're not wrong about there not being companies that are pro-free speech, I agree.
