But what do you do with it exactly? The power and SATA cables will still be there tugging at it and there isn't any place to securely mount the drive unless you plan to tape it in place. It seems like a solution looking for a problem. The M.2 standard is a much better solution to small form factor storage and even offers much greater speeds than SATA if the MB and drive are so equipped. Just being small in size is not a killer feature these days.
