VLC is function over form. I like it.

If only the mobile version supported:

  • Zooming/cropping during playback (like Samsung TouchWiz video player since 2011)
  • Frame-by-frame navigation and still frame extraction (like Samsung TouchWiz video player since 2011)
  • Custom rotation
  • Playback statistics (e.g. current framerate and bitrate)
  • Ability to play audio-only when opening a video (without opening video first)
