Well I’ll tell you what, I’ll make an effort to have more discussion with you. When our life rafts hit this island I remember you mentioning the lack of conversations in the comments.and sadly not much has changed. Hardware synths are fucking fascinating I went to audio school 17 or so years ago and was only exposed to digital. They’d run signals through the old boards/gear but everything was recorded on Protools or logic.so I’m not overly familiar with hardware but I understand the concepts of patches ,filters shapes. I’m still using reason 3 /recycle and cubase on a power Mac G5 (if and when I ever touch The stuff). I’m currently trying to learn/practice guitar so I tend to watch musical instruments on Craigslist and prior to a month or so ago it was basically beginners guitars/drums etc. But I think after a year of no gigs people working that area are getting a dose of needs over wants so gear is on the table. I like fixing shit too, nothing in particular just stuff I find along the way that seems interesting.or cool. I got a Cooey 75 for 50 bucks the other day sold as parts gun. Firing pin was stuck and turns out a piece of brass was in the chamber so it wouldn’t chamber. Brass came out with a drill and you’d never have seen it I’m not sure it had ever been cleaned but the wood and finish we’re in pretty great shape.so i figured it was nice even as a wall hanger but it’s a shooter as of this afternoon. Pin was an easy fix. (I probably should have saved some of this stuff for further convos) lol
