Yep. This guy is an actual journalist and does research. And since the main topic is Information security, much of the comments are actually thought out. I've followed his blog for years now and he always has some interesting topics.
He also went full woke during the election, had to unfollow him due to the political crap he started spewing just like bruce schnierer. These people should stick to their profession.
