That's a trick question!
LOL Umm... I have no idea? I don't know if I'm seeing the intended colors.
Colorblindness is a spectrum (ha! I see what I did there) and some folks only see gray. Me? I don't see a number of the various hues. To me, certain shades of blue will appear black. Certain greens will appear to be other greens - but I still pick up part of the spectrum that green lies in. I also have issues with yellows and oranges, but that's only in certain parts of the spectrum.
So, I've seen the colored names and they stand out with good contrast. I can't actually be certain that I'm seeing the intended colors.
With the default dark them on Poal, I'd have a very, very hard time navigating the site if you used dark blue. I'd see the dark blue as black and it would not have enough contrast.
As it stands, I think I see the colored names. I think I see and notice them all, but I can't actually be sure. I am, after all, partially colorblind! Because of the way light works, there's still light in other parts of the spectrum - so I'll see a totally different color.
To answer the question as well as I can, I have no trouble navigating Poal in the default theme.
That's something I appreciate.
Sort of related, I am slowly progressing to worse. It's a very slow process and I'll likely be dead before I achieve complete colorblindness. I worry about losing part of the orange spectrum as it'd make hunting damned near impossible to do with enough safety imposed. The high-viz nature of the orange helps, but I worry about losing that part of the spectrum 'cause I really like hunting.
This color here is a little difficult for me to make out, but I can read it well enough:

To me, the "comment reply: ..." is a pretty dark blue. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if it really is a dark blue.
Hold on...
Alright, the eldest hoodlum tells me it's "a little dark but I can see it easy." To me, it's a bit hard to distinguish, but I can do it. It's not too bad, yet. For all I know, that'll change in the next couple of years.
It's a really weird ailment to have!
Reply is between blue and dark blue.
This color here is a little difficult for me to make out, but I can read it well enough:
That color is actually light blue.
Having learned my lesson, I can't actually argue with you! I had so many apologies to give after I was diagnosed!
One chick, that I was dating at the time, had a rather heated argument with me (I was almost certainly wrong) that the curtains were checkered red and white and, to me, they appeared purple. This argument snowballed and it seemed that every time she could she'd throw it at me and want to argue about that. We actually ended up breaking up, and the color of the curtains was partially to blame.
So, I just accept the colors other people say or completely avoid talking about them. I no longer will say, "That's a beautiful green car." I'll just say, "I like your car." If I need to speak about colors, I'll ask something like, "You'll have to help me out. What color car is that?"
I was wrong - so many times. I was belligerent about it, too! This was back when I drank heavily, so I was always willing to argue.
Ah well... Lesson learned and people were understanding once they found out I was diagnosed.
Is this color purple?

(Not the shade of black that is the background. That looks like a dark gray and I'm usually not too bad with that part of the spectrum. Though it could be a dark blue and I'm just seeing it as a dark gray.)
Yes it's a blueish purple.
The background is actually a slightly dark gray.
