Having learned my lesson, I can't actually argue with you! I had so many apologies to give after I was diagnosed! One chick, that I was dating at the time, had a rather heated argument with me (I was almost certainly wrong) that the curtains were checkered red and white and, to me, they appeared purple. This argument snowballed and it seemed that every time she could she'd throw it at me and want to argue about that. We actually ended up breaking up, and the color of the curtains was partially to blame. So, I just accept the colors other people say or completely avoid talking about them. I no longer will say, "That's a beautiful green car." I'll just say, "I like your car." If I need to speak about colors, I'll ask something like, "You'll have to help me out. What color car is that?" I was wrong - so many times. I was belligerent about it, too! This was back when I drank heavily, so I was always willing to argue. Ah well... Lesson learned and people were understanding once they found out I was diagnosed.
