I also enjoy the newpipe app on me phone. Subscriptions and easy download.
I entered the RSS world just last week. I use Feedly. I'm starting to really feel the utility in it. Suddenly I don't have to sift around for scraps from the internet---they just get fed to me in one space.
I'm flirting with upgrading from the free version to see about utilizing their "AI" to make the feeds even better. If you have a better suggestion than Feedly, I'm all ears though, since I don't have a gauge on any standard.
I sit down and watch Jonna Jinton all the time with my young daughters.
feedly is a 3rd party subscription/reader service i believe ???
if so, i'd recommend against it due to potential censorship, plus, if they offer a "free" service, it's likely because they're making you the product (your habits, data, etc.)
i would strongly suggest using a local reader and one from an ethical developer that has good reviews and is open source - again, i'd recommend Smart Reader for Firefox
there are also stand-alone readers (doesn't depend on a web browser) for various OS's - seems to be a popular one and it's multi-platform
I have strong disdain for firefox's social agenda. Once I read they were trying to keep my safe from my thoughts, I had to drop them a couple years ago.
i don't blame you a bit, but i have some knowledge of Firefox with regard to privacy (i maintain 2 extensive guides) and, at the moment, there is no viable replacement in my view - i would also suspect that the ethics (of lack thereof) of Mozilla are not entirely inline with the ethics of the Firefox developers
You're Jona Jinton aren't you....
