I have Javascript disabled by default. And only enable it on a page by page basis. As needed.
Using Brave Browser. Apparently I am unique.
Same here
Unfortunately, modern browsers leak fingerprints faster than a user can patch them. For example, you can fingerprint a browser with just CSS: https://github.com/jbtronics/CrookedStyleSheets
Or even track the movement of the cursor with no javascript: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/researcher-finds-css-only-method-to-track-mouse-movements/
Even if you manage to stay up to date with all techniques known to advertisers and tweak your browser accordingly, you'll end up breaking most sites that would use this kind of tracking to begin with.
Having said that, it's still nice to be aware of this, and take measures to make their jobs harder.
There are plenty of countermeasures like Secret Agent 1.35, but the most important one is never let these trackers tie your browser to your identity, which means never letting them get your IP address....which means using a VPN or good proxy.
