no, it doesn't - unlike with using a VPN, watching high-def videos is problematic on Tor due to 3 layers of encryption - latency is another issue (latency sensitive gaming is out of the question), as is torrenting which Tor advises against - then there's the ease of changing node locations which is trivial with any decent VPN - and connection stability which is worse with Tor - and lastly, the fact that everyone using Tor needs to look the same, which means you can kiss all your fav extensions goodbye
