I think the last RLL drive I bought (Full-height, 5.25") was a 20MB Seagate with controller. Used for $200 in 1994.
Now, Micro Center sells 1TB drives for around ~$45, going down into the 30s at times on sale or during a glut. That would be about $26 when I bought the 20MB drive...
