Dictatorships, like Hitler, USSR, CCP, all know that censorship is essential to their power. Hitler only allowed, by changing the law, one pro-Nazi newspaper. The Nazis were also socialists.

The word "Nazi" was a nickname given to the NSDAP, Hitler's party. On the 29th July 1921, the party which had changed its name to National Sozialistische Deutsche Arbeiter Partei (NSDAP) was reorganized, Hitler becoming the first “Chairman.” The Nazis were socialists. Socialism was a means of controlling the population, and removing services from people who didn't agree with the leadership.
