This is part-and-parcel of Communist infiltration methodology. How have organizations not caught on to it and immunized themselves against it, by now? Set the company mission-statement and company values in stone— anything that violates this directive (or even interferes or distracts from it) is immediately, mercilessly, thrown out the window with zero political bias.

> I'm sorry, but this new type of license you're proposing goes against our company mission statement. We deal in Open Source software licenses, as defined by our articles of incorporation. If you wish to pursue such a project, please do so on your own dime and your own time. If we notice you wasting company resources on this unrelated project, you will be immediately fired without severance for insubordination. Thank you, have a good day.

*edit: Having watched more of the video, I'm glad he typed the message he did. My only suggestion would have been that he had done it somewhere extremely more public than a mailing list. BCC it to every tech-news website that people still read, link to it on twitter with the tag "", etc. Knock some heads on the way down.
